Oh, Dietrich. Didn't you read the plot synopsis?

And yeah, no, there's actually no Universität in Riedstadt, which is a town, and as far as I've ever known, no Universität at all that requires uniforms. It's entirely fabricated. It seemed uncouth to use an actual existing school as the basis for deadly chess games wtf e_e besides uniforms make drawing background characters easier *shot forever*

Somewhat related, this font does not come with umlauts and I have to do them manually. You underestimate how hard it is to get them to line up exactly even fml < /chattycathy >

The way you draw the blonde's hair is awesome. It looks great!

The font I use for Anfänge also does not come with umlauts, so I end up all, "Welp, time to abuse that poor colon again."

And oh gott, Dietrich <3 SO LOST! Like a little Bambi ;;

Finally finding time to read this! Although it's so engrossing, I can't just breeze through pages while on the train or at work.

I have to know, how come the ink/line looks grainy? Even the most recent pages have this effect. Is it deliberate? (sorry if I missed the memo. Sort of late to this party.)

@Lunapocalypse: Sorry for the late reply! Was occupied with... things haha.

To answer your question, it's, erm, sort of deliberate but yeah not really deliberate haha. Deliberate in that I do inking by hand rather than digitally, not deliberate in that it's a side effect of scanning things in. Though it's a poor excuse, I'm not so tech savvy when it comes to things like that haha, though I should make the effort to learn!

@Charil: Which program do you use for the digital side of things once you've scanned it in? I could point you to a simple tutorial video if it's Photoshop, or I'm sure there'd be plenty of other quick vids out there for other programs. Although after that it all boils down to a matter of preference.

There must be a law somewhere that objects to that. XD
